account service in advertising

iv been working in the digital advertising industry for the past 3 years in account services (or client services), climbing from Account Executive eventually to Account Manager. now that im a strategic planner and no longer have responsibilities with client service iv decided to do a quick wrap up.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (AE)
basic expectations of a new AE: schedule meetings, make sure everyone attends said meeting, attend meeting and write meeting minutes, make sure everyone knows what theyre supposed to do, make sure everyone does what theyre supposed to do

some AE are also expected to do basic research and summarize accordingly. iv done plenty of brand audits and competitive landscape reports.

AE usually are not expected to contact or communicate with clients but in some cases (if youre more reliable, or if your boss is too busy) you will be introduced to clients to follow up items directly.

SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (SAE)
basically the same as what an AE does with more expectations and less room for mistakes.

ASSOCIATE ACCOUNT MANAGER (AAM)
skipped this role cause it's the same shit as SAE, no idea why this position exists.

ACCOUNT MANAGER (AM)
at this point youre expected to be the driver and lead any meetings or conversations. youre the one that tells everyone why they are in the meeting and what needs to be done. in some cases the account director will do this, but if you are a GOOD account manager then the director will rely on you to do this (best to make this your standard otherwise youre basically an SAE, you need to step up as AM).

if you have an AE under you then you dont have to manage meetings anymore, instead you take more time to study and learn in terms of leadership and taking more responsibilities.

account manager should also have a better grasp of timing and budget expectations. AE is not expected to revise or feedback on timelines and quotations, but as an AM you should have more experience and have some idea of a benchmark. AM and AD will usually work together to communicate to client and negotiate the right terms for both parties.

SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER (SAM)
basically the same concept as AE jumping to SAE. at this point the AD will supervise less and expect the SAM to be more independent.

CONCLUSION:
in my opinion the role of account is underrated amongst other departments. our main role is to maintain relationship with client and ensure their expectations are met. more importantly that involves setting that expectation (a lot of times even the client is not 100% sure on what they want, and will rely on our expertise to advise them). the key to a good account is to balance standard and expectations of client AS WELL AS internal teams. your teams work and morale is almost as important as clients'. a creative designer that hates you will not be a good asset.

if i had to summarize a good account person in one line, id say "a likable someone who knows everything there is to know about the brand and client".

review: lunch break at SOHO Exchange, Shanghai

was recently inspired to write a new blog post. with hopes to make it more useful have decided to create a review post. unfortunately i havent seen any new movies or played any new games lately, so i'll be doing a review of my lunch experience today.

1) Leave Office
not much to say as i was distracted by my phone, didnt really notice any of my surroundings. 低头 to the max. did however manage to feel the warmth from the sunlight. overall pleasant experience.

2) Walk Around 久光
usually crowded especially during lunch hour so i dont recommend 低头ing while indoors. typical person walking in Shanghai either 1) doesnt watch where theyre walking or 2) walk wherever they want. in both cases they dont care where YOU are walking, so you will need your awareness with you otherwise you'll unpleasantly bump into someone.

3) Food (Taiwan Bazaar 台湾集市)
a little booth in the basement floor of 久光, ¥24 for a 卤肉饭套餐, set meal of braised pork rice with a pork/radish soup loaded with 2 pork balls + ¥10 for some 盐酥鸡 salt fried chicken. decent cost for good food. considering there's no legit Taiwanese food in Shanghai it actually tastes as close as it gets. limited seating, set up kind of like the corner of a bar table and bar stools. not the most comfortable but most people who are there just eat and leave, not the best place to hang around after youre done.

4) Return To Office
walking back i took another path around Jingan Kerry Center. more grass and green in this path bundled again with the soothing sunlight feels pretty good. unfortunately along this path there is an Abercombie & Fitch store with its usual pungent smell of six-packs and junior sex.

probably the most useless and irrelevant review to anyone but at least i managed to use up a few minutes of my otherwise doing fuck all time. cause thats all that matters right, me wasting time, cause honestly who the fuck is gonna read this shit. okay. PEACE OUT

LIES

the other day someone said i was a really good liar, and good at making excuses. some people say Libras overall are good liars, and i can see that. successfully lying is all about reading the other party, by doing so you'll know what kind of lie will work, and what wont. is the person vulnerable to a lie, or is he not. and most important, whether the lie is even necessary. in my opinion, no one is better at reading a character than a Libra, which makes them excellent liars.

i wont deny, i am i good liar, but that doesnt really mean i lie all the time now does it. it got me thinking about the whole ethicality of lying, when is it okay for one to lie and when is it not.

some people lie for their own gain: "yes im rich, let's have sex and i'll share my wealth with you"
some people lie cause they dont wanna get in trouble: "no i didnt eat your last cookie, maybe the dog did it"
some people lie just to spite others: "yea dont talk to him, he has AIDS"
then there's the white lie to avoid conflict and hurting others: “you look great in that dress!”

not gonna say im a saint that never lies, but i do take a lot more considerations before making one. my motto around lying- "no harm, no foul". and remember, a joke is not a lie, a joke is a joke. if you cant tell the difference then you better learn or people are gonna think you have no sense of humor and stop hanging out with you.

have a look at a very simplified flow chart of considerations when urged to lie, it might help in understanding a bit better (does not apply to people who lie just for the hell of it).

seems like a lot to consider, especially if youre on the spot and need to lie quickly or you'll get caught. part of being a good liar is instinctively knowing these steps and making a quick decision, or playing out a conversation beforehand and planning out an appropriate lie.

well to sum up, guess what im trying to say is, just cause im a good liar, doesnt mean i lie all the time... or is that a lie? HMMMM???

MY religion- part 2: CONFUCIUS SAY...

carrying on my last post, here's another religion (though more like a philosophical guideline) that i really like. not hard to guess, it's all about Confucianism.

in many ways, Confucianism is very similar to the mindset of the Libra horoscope. there are several virtues, namely the big 5: Humaneness, Justice/Righteousness, Propriety/Etiquette, Knowledge, and Integrity. it's all about moral goodness, and unbiased judgement.

all the virtues of Confucianism add up to one golden rule, "Do not do unto others what you would not have them do unto you". if only the whole world could have a basic understanding of this, then we would all be living happily ever after. there would be no war, no strife, we could be living in a real life Eden.

whats more, Confucius wasn't just some idealist, he was a true philosopher, and a politician. studying the logic of humanity, ethical philosophy, he was a true gentleman in all extents.

i even bought a book about Confucius, though i never finished it, and honestly i dont know where it is anymore, but i really look up to his philosophy.

should i make my own religion, i'll be taking a lot of extracts from his Book of Analects (lol ANALects).

MY religion- part 1: OH MY GAH

im not a religious person, theres no reason for me to be. religion is usually pressured onto you by family. i dont have that problem (not to say its a bad thing, or maybe it is). so being a religious man is my choice, and i choose to keep my options open.

what i do like about most religious beliefs is that they all come with their own sets of decree. rules are good, good for regulation. but the punishments are always a little over the top. going to hell, raped by satan, reborn as an animal, whatever. those suck, big time.

there are bits and pieces of each religion that i find fascinating. id like to share them for a while, and in the end i'll imagine my own religion, perfectly catered to my own personality. you can all join my cult some day.

there's a lot to write so im gonna make this a mini-series (hopefully one that doesnt die after first issue). it's already getting kinda long so i'll start with a shorter post. so without further ado, here's part 1: OH MY GAH

according to my bullshit generator, the term oh my god comes from Christianity, which will be the main topic of part 1. here's what intrigues me about Christianity:
  1. heaven & hell- first of all, the afterlife, that sounds fun. anyway, i always wondered how big is heaven/hell, who's there, will it ever overpopulate? and what are you supposed to do?  i just imagine that if i go to heaven i can be like "fuck ya, suck my dick and make me a bacon sandwich while i play video games all day". heaven must be full of fat, lazy, assholes.
  2. angels & demons- the populace of heaven and hell, aside from the gods, are the angels and demons. but are there any on Earth right now, just watching what we're doing. am i being watched right now. buncha creepers, heaven and hell are populated with pervs.
  3. apocalypse- so apparently god has a date on his calendar where he takes all the nice people of Earth and saves them somewhere. then leaves all the nasty people to eternal torment and death. basically starting with a clean slate. that seems like a real dick move.
so far everyone is heaven seems like a real ass, besides Santa Claus, which brings me to #4.
  4. motha fuckin Christmas, presents and holidays, hell yea
lets end the list here then. overall i gotta say, the Christians that i know are pretty nice, but the whole concept seems pretty harsh to me. so id rather not be a Christian. unless heaven is actually a real place, and i need to be a Christian for admittance, then count me in!

stay tuned for the next issue of MY religion, where i will blog about one of the more fascinating "religions" in my mind.

oh and i'll just leave this video here too... oh my gah!

horoscope: Cancer

iv already talked about my own horoscope, Libra, and i gotta say i enjoyed writing that blog. not just cause i get to talk about myself like a god, but horoscopes are indeed interesting. so here's another one.

the only other horoscope i have some familiarity with would be Cancer, so let's jump right to it!

typical traits: associated with crabs (i'll go into this later lol), loyal, emotional and sensitive. now for the breakdown!

crabby, like crabs, not like old people: just like how the fair and just Libra is symbolized by scales, there is a reason crabs are the zodiac symbol for Cancerians. there are a few parts to this one.

a) walking sideways: Cancers typically dont look towards the direction they are moving, they look forward while they move sideways. its more like a metaphor to a Cancer's psychology, not a physical trait (otherwise people everywhere would be walking around sideways and would look pretty retarded). when you see a Cancer it looks like they're focused on one thing, but they're actually going towards something else. it's often used as a defense mechanism. for instance he/she could be judging you in their mind, meanwhile they keep a friendly exterior.

b) always on the defensive: whether they want it or not, they will always have their hard ass exoskeleton shell on. it stands for their defensive side where they dont tend to share a real emotional connection with others, giving off an impression otherwise. but for the lucky ones who get to see behind the shell, it's soft and juicy and tastes good. could do with some crab meat right now. ahem anyway.. MOVING ON

loyal: you could say crabs are loyal too, but im just gonna stop talking about crabs for now.

most people say Cancers are patriotic, or family oriented, which are both true, but it all comes down to loyalty. why are you patriotic? because youre loyal to your country. why are you family oriented? because youre loyal to your parents (since as their child you need to carry on the family legacy).

of course they are also loyal to friends as well, especially the closer ones who have broken through their emotional defenses. Cancers have large pincers and are not afraid to use them in defense of their loved ones. but be warned, a Cancer's loyalty is in most cases mutual. if you betray a Cancer in any way, they will consider your loyalty broken, and will turn their pincers at you. Cancers need to be cherished and should not be fucked with.

emotional and sensitive: linking back to the defensive shells, inside is soft juicy meat, that's where the emotion and sensitivity lies. once you crack that shell, once you open those emotional flood gates, the sensitivity just pours out like a landslide. and once you open those doors, it's hard to get them closed. apologies for the negativity, but this is not considered a bad thing. but in comparison to some other zodiac signs, a Cancer will really let it rain, emotionally. lol

so there you have it, the gist of my opinion on the Cancer zodiac sign. gotta say this was a joy to write! but Libra was still more fun

dream log #01: first of no more to come

had a particularly strange dream this morning, so here's a blog of what went down.

Part I:
was in some kind of post apocalypse world, city atmosphere, tall skyscrapers with glass exteriors and neon lights. not the lively kind of hustle bustle like downtown HK. it was dark and gloomy, like all the buildings were looming in on you. kinda like gotham city at night you could say.

parts of the city were fenced off, cause there were these rabid crazy infected people trying to get in and kill/eat you. i dont really know. they were like the guys in 28 days later.

Shaq and Sam L Jackson starred in my dream, they were brothers. SLJ had his pulp fiction look, but he soon got torn in half, and ended up like the android guy from ALIENS.

Shaq went on a rampage with a vengeance, and disappeared into a crowd of baddies while killing them off.

nobody that appeared in my dream was anyone i knew from real life, besides one guy. he had cosplayed as some anime character i'v never seen before, and was taking photos with a bunch of balloons. he gave me his balloons and ran away later...

some things happened in between, and we all somehow ended up in a swimming pool. in this particular pool there were these mutant serpent like fish, like eels. it would bite and latch onto your head, and teleport you away. at this point the dream setting started turning into a movie, and i was watching from third person and was no longer part of it.

eventually i did wake up, and thought the world was still ending, realizing it was a dream i went back to bed.

Part II:
totally new setting, i was at the beach with my brother (who was portrayed by Adam Sandler) and my mum (who was some random blonde model).

for some reason we had a bunch of guitars, and i had to strap them all on as well left. my family disappeared and i ended up lying on some roof with this girl, she was apparently my girlfriend. this girl was really cute, like SUPER cute. i couldn't recognize her from anyone i'v met or seen in the real world. but anyway she was there. last thing i can remember i was teaching her algebra.

eventually i woke up from a bunch of group chat notifications going off in the morning. raged for a bit cause it was still an hour before my alarm goes off and just ended up on/off sleeping.

so there's my dream, i hope i never have it again =_="

horoscope: Libra

people in China are crazy about horoscopes, asking your horoscope is one of the first questions when meeting a new friend.

personally i think knowing and talking about horoscopes is fun and charming. they have a phantasmal feel and are just high level enough to maybe even be true. being in China has only bolstered my interest. so let’s talk about my horoscope, the ever popular Libra.

typical traits: intelligent, charming (indeed), easy going. but really they all come down to the same thing, fairness and understanding of others. let's talk about these traits one by one!

intelligent: not in the sense that i am the most academically smart person, but i know how to read people, i can understand them (at least more so than the average person). through this i can understand this person’s personality and needs, and cater to them specifically. this way i can tailor my conversation to give off an impression of intelligence. just rinse and repeat the same process with different people, and they will all think i'm smart, albeit in a fake kind of way.

charming: similar to how my “intelligence” works, understanding of a person can be used to charm a person. you know what they want, you know what they like, all you need to do is deliver. also being “fair” can be translated into having a sense of justice, which is very charismatic in men.

easy going: this one’s got more negativity to it, Libras are sometimes seen as being idealistic, that everyone in the world is fair. if that were the case then every problem would be easy to solve, allowing Libras to feel like "what's the big deal". but sadly the world is not a perfect place and some people don’t care for your problems.

anyway I forget the point of this post, or if i even had one to begin with. i think i just wanted to talk about something interesting and talk about myself at the same time, so there you have it.

welcome back mike

it's been a while, a lot has happened, so let's get right to it!
so my last blog was in August 2012, let me share what's happened since then.
  • i did eventually get back with the gf who had broken up with me back then (we got back together last year around september, after annual trip to Korea). we're still dating now, but dis shit still be complicated.
  • i'm still at razorfish, though i have been promoted to SENIOR account executive, and am looking to be account MANAGER by october.
  • i moved apartment twice since then. no longer living with my uncle, got a neat single apartment to myself now.
  • met tons of new people, some of which are now awesome friends.
that's the gist of it. doesnt seem like much, four bullet points to summarize the past year, but its definitely made an impact on my experience in Shanghai.

now that we all know how iv been, for my next blog i will talk about a better topic for you all the look forward to. a heated debate about something very interesting to read about. until then, au revoir.

"you have been cured of emo"

so i just read my last blog about being emo. those were some shitty days, glad that month is over.

things are better now:
1) iv moved on from the break up.
2) my team at work has expanded, so less work load for me.
3) im starting to work on Nike and Converse, which are some big opportunities, and look great on my record.
4) annual trip is coming up in a month, going to Seoul baby!
5) some awesome new games iv been waiting for a long while release today- aww yeaa!

so what else is new. o ya. my ex is now the account director of my team. seeing that im the account executive of my team, that means i now report to her. i think now is an appropriate time for a cliff hanger (cause im getting tired). ciao!

ready for an emo post?

cause this is gonna be an emo post.

me and gf are on a break, just a 1 month break. but really, it's gonna be a break up... why even wait. just drags the shit out. fuck. for the first time ever, i'v felt the other end of the relationship break up stick.
relationship 1: we saw it coming, made the distance, mutual break up, by the end i was pretty indifferent.
relationship 2: i brought it down. so yea.
now relationship 3: suckage. i feel like shit.

and what makes matters worse is that there's nothing i can do. there's the age gap, the difference in career position, life and future plans. there was so much against us that it only makes sense to have a break. but just cause it's understandable, doesn't mean i have to like it. matter of fact, i hate it. this fucking sucks.

not to mention, work is fucking hectic as hell. this monday to friday i slept just about 16 hours, and spent the rest at the office. and i still got shit to do at work tomorrow (and let me remind you, tomorrow is sunday) i fucking hate working on sundays, and saturdays (which i did today). i'm really starting to hate my job.

i just wanna sleep off the rest of the month, wake me when its June. fuck.

the things i learned

so what have i learned these few months in Shanghai? PLENTY! in fact there's so much shit that after a little more consideration, i'm not even gonna bother to blog about it. way too much typing.

well, so much for that blog.

Monday, 16 April 2012

the last 6 months

hi guys, haven't had a chance to share my Shanghai experiences with most of my friends so here's a quick breakdown! one day i'll find one of the more interesting topics and share a deeper post around it, save that for another time.

2) partied like a mofo.
3) found a job with digital ad agency Razorfish.
4) started dating a Shanghainese girl.

NOVEMBER
1) still partying like a mofo, still dating the same girl, and still in the same job.
2) getting more stuff to do at work, still fairly fresh and junior.

DECEMBER
1) christmas break in Hong Kong.
2) chatted with my boss, after new year gonna be a new man.
3) regardless of trying to improve in work, still partying lol.

JANUARY
1) work is picking up. i'm getting better, but OTing like a madman.
2) starting to lose it with my gf.
3) doesn't stop me from drinking, matter of fact i start drinking more around this time of year.

working mindset

so. this week i fucked up at work and i got the shit kicked out of me by my superior. he didnt really yell, or beat me, he was just stern and disappointed. after hearing what he said to me, i felt like a retard.

so i moped a bit, and he could tell i was moping, so he said "dont just fucking mope, dont tell me you'll fix it, just do it." by no means am i complaining about my boss. i deserved a verbal beating. sadly im the type that learns through mistakes. at the very least i know i wont fuck up again.

to be honest i think i take criticism quite well, but it still makes me a little sad :<

so apparently im not in the working mans mindset yet, im still an adolescent. im not exactly young, im just new to being employed in a real fucking job. interns are allowed to fuck up, theyre just kids, but im not a fucking intern anymore. my life thus far has been too pampered, i need to set my priorities straight... i have this job and now i need to make an effort to keep it. sorry gf, you gonna have to come second in my life. a close second... lol

shanghai vs hongkong: the not so obvious differences

FIRST OF ALL, a quick summary of what iv been up to in shanghai :)
worked at ZIXAG as a temp salesperson for a few days. that was fun.
started day 1 at Razorfish yesterday, it is now the end of day 2.

back to the main topic. again this is just my personal opinion. dont hate.

like many other cities, there is a large gap between the rich and the poor, which side is the majority i am not too sure. but the point is that it leads to a very uneven living for middle people like me who are used to the high (yet common) standard of services in HK and stuck with the shitty standards of Shanghai. of course there is a nice place for every shithole in Shanghai, but the middle ground is too unstable :<

cleanliness i dont really have to talk about.
HK = hygienic, Shanghai = dirty
HK = polluted = Shanghai
HK = Shanghai? hygienic = dirty? nevermind..

most people would think that Shanghai (or Mainland China in general) has more assholes than HK. this is true in the sense that China has more of everything than HK cause HK is fucking tiny compared to it. nevermind. lets talk in terms of ratio, between assholes and non-assholes. in Shanghai there are lots of people who dont give a shit about others, but there are JUST AS MANY in HK. the only difference is HK has regulation and Shanghai does not. if not for the strict standards of HK regulation and whatnot, the true nature of HKers will come out and people will realize HK people arent really that much nicer.

last but definitely not least, lets talk about the honeys. the stereotypes are basically the same in both places. golddiggers, materialistic, brandwhores, etc. again, just stereotypes. though it is kinda true (LOL). the majority of Shanghai girls that guys meet are girls they meet at trashy clubs. obviously youre not gonna meet the nicest girls there.. thus a dirty stereotype is formed. my point being, stereotypes are stereotypes. in these few days iv met plenty of nice shanghai girls who arent totally into me just cause im from HK (and cause HK people are rich duh), then again i am dashingly good looking so most guys cant really relate to me. AHEM. yes. lets end on that note.

fashion time!

working as free labor these few days to help supervise a fashion event organized by TBWA\AUDITOIRE.

today was day 1 (8am-8am next day, 24 hour work day). watched an empty exhibition hall turn into a catwalk stage, well half of the building process. i'll be going back for final completion from 6-8am tomorrow morning.

day 2 tomorrow will start at 9am, an hour after the end of day 1.. glad im only part time helping. anyways tomorrow is rehearsal day. not sure what it is i'll be doing, probably just ogling at the models.

day 3 and 4 are the days of the event, i just go on standby to make sure everything goes smoothly..

oh did i mention its a lingerie fashion show? XD

games development pt1

so like i said in my last post, i had a chance to meet James Jen, president of TipCat. they develop and produce some games for mobile or online platforms.

to start with, i know i have an interest in the games industry. so james asked me, "what do you want to do?" a very easy question, but i had no idea how to answer. i love everything about the games i play and want to be in every part of their creation, except for back end production. doing back end work is tedious, requires knowledge and training which i dont have (and dont want to waste effort learning), not to mention it doesnt pay very well. creative thinking is where all the moneys at, but is that what i want to do? perhaps.

so james saw me struggling to answer his o-so-simple question and asked me something else, "what kind of games do you want to work with?" like which platform, or what genre i like. still, i really didnt know! i now i realize that "i want to do it all!" is not an acceptable answer. development and production varies greatly between genres and platforms.. GREATLY. theres no way you can work in multiple genres effectively, unless youre some kind of creative genius.

after some thought, i know how i can answer his first question. what i love about games is how they implement gameplay into just about anything, and most importantly make it fun at the same time.
for instance how developers can take a story element and convert it into an aspect of gameplay. heres an easy example: Assassins Creed. you play as Altair, legendary assassin. he has all the best equipment, ability, everything an assassin needs. so the player starts the game and has everything he/she needs, making the beginning VERY easy, and that is exactly what developers wanted. to introduce a new game style and ease the player into it, essentially a tutorial. story wise Altair fucks up in the end of the tutorial and gets stripped of his rank, removing all his high tier equipment. now Altair is basically an amateur and has to regain his rank, slowly unlocking his lost privileges while doing so. this way the protagonist also relates more to the player, making it more attractive (in some cases). and who doesnt love the sense of achievement whenever you unlock some awesome new gear.
its these kind of concepts that i want to be a part of. it may sound simple but it must have taken some effort to come upon.

so i now have a better idea of what i would like to do, i just need to pick a platform to dive into. i'll find james and have another chat with him one day to see if we can work something out. more to come in pt2. maybe.

[edit] there will be no part 2.

arrival at shanghai

this is my second time traveling to shanghai, but this time will be very different from my first trip here. this time im here for the long haul looking for a job.

while i was floating around in hk i was pretty sure i wanted to get back into an ad agency, but i was unsure which department i wanted to goto, or what kind of work id be interested in, though i had a general idea. my uncle (gm of Integer in shanghai) has been kind enough to let me shadow him around the office here in shanghai. with the new insight iv gained from seeing things in his perspective, i think i now have a better idea of what it is exactly people do here and what it is i want to do. more on this, maybe for another day.

in other news, iv met a lot of new people here, one in particular, James Jen, president of TipCat. we had a chat concerning the games industry in shanghai, how it differs from the rest of the world, and how development varies largely between genres and platforms. i'll save this for another blog too, perhaps tomorrow.

from now on i'll make an effort to post serious blogs with real opinions on stuff that actually matters, at least to some people. it will inevitably still contain a bullshit blog here and there, but at least now there will be something worth reading amongst all the crap. also might have to renovate the look.. plain and simple is easy and relaxing sure, but its getting boring to look at.. so, look forward to my revamped blog, coming soon!

with great expectations, comes great disappointment.

a little spin on the almighty spiderman quote, just to relate more to how things are going right now for me. i tend to have high expectations in all the wrong times.

i got a call from my old workplace with a possible opportunity for a new contract. this was about a month ago and things have not progressed much. they made it sound like i would be a great help and they really needed me back, made me feel really good about myself and somewhat confident id get the contract. turns out im not that valuable to them after all, or theyre just too stingy to hire me full-time. this is life, big time agencies dont have time or resources to care about people like me. regardless, i was still pretty fucking disappointed.

so now i continue to wait while applying other jobs and working on my freelance projects.

as a side note, my right wrist has been sore for the past few weeks and its only been regressing in condition. so much for healing on its own. now its at a point where using the mouse is really uncomfortable, which isnt very convenient considering a large portion of my work is done with the mouse. oh well... TO THE HOSPITAL!

Update On Me

To start things off, i am currently a freelance web designer. I find clients through friends and ads who need some kind of digital design done. I started pretty much as soon as my contract with TBWA ended. So last week my friend told me that as a freelancer i should make a blog on the work ive done, then i realized i already have a blog rotting away in the back of the internet, so here i am, updating away.

In my time as a freelancer ive worked with Handsome Bag Co to help revamp their webpage, it was a fairoy short contract seeing as i wasnt involved in any back end work. Either way it was still enjoyable. Right now im helping a friend at ETON upgrade the company webpage to integrate Flash interaction. Unfortunately my laptop has stopped working so that contract has been frozen for now..

Aside from the more serious clientele work, i do small favors on the side, like making logos for friends and such things. Whether or not i post any of the work ive done here, i'll think about it later. Im quite tired from typing on my phone so i'll end my post for today here.
